Hi everyone, welcome back. It’s been one week since I launched this blog, and it’s been a busy one. For starters, I’ve decided to do a bit of a "life audit." Yes, at 32, I’m doing a full spring clean in the middle of winter—but honestly? It feels great. It’s helping me get my head clear and feel back in control. Just a heads-up that this month is going to be all about writing and sharing thoughts, but get ready—next month is when the real fun starts.
Let’s get into it.
I’ve accepted that I’m a bit of a nomad at heart. I don't really stay in one spot for long—I like to think the universe just nudges me where I need to go next. My current place is lovely, but it’s just not "home" for me. Having worked in real estate, I know firsthand that the rental market can be a tough grind. It’s hard to swallow that you’re essentially paying off someone else’s mortgage while your own rent costs skyrocket.
It’s frustrating how much your income dictates where you’re "allowed" to live. It feels like so many people are working three jobs just to keep their heads above water in areas they don't even love. I’m certainly not wealthy—in fact, my rent takes up about half of my weekly income—so I get it.
Which brings me to my first tip: Don’t let your income define you; define what you do with it. If you just spend every dollar that comes in, you’ll be stuck in the bill-and-debt cycle forever. If you get smart about your money, though, you’d be surprised at what’s possible. It won't be easy at first, but I know you’ve all got the potential to turn things around.
Well cant give you all my secrets, so until next time..
Yours truly
